From March 3 to 6, 2022, I was the Kenosha Interfaith Scholar in Residence, giving a series of talks at Carthage College and local religious institutions in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

I am the co-editor of the new fourth edition (2019) of the OUP textbook A Concise Introduction to World Religions.

From May 18 to June 22, I taught an online course in Reel Spirituality for the Naramata Centre.

On September 19, 2019, I was interviewed by NPR in Tulsa, Oklahoma, about American Muslims.

On September 20, 2019, I was interviewed on ABC News in Tulsa about American Muslims prior to a talk I gave at the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa, OK as part of their exhibition on Islamic art.

I am the co-editor of the new 5th editions (2018) of the OUP textbooks, World Religions: Eastern Traditions and World Religions: Western Traditions.

On September 21, 2018, I was part of this conference at Harvard Divinity School on Religious Literacy and Media.
